Health Benefit to this yummy dressing?
Almond butter has 9 grams of fat per 1 tablespoon and 3.4 grams of protein and contains fiber. Contains vitamin E, magnesium and calcium. Versus if you use olive oil has 14 grams of fat and ZERO grams of protein, fiber or carbs. By using a nut butter, you get more nutrients with less fat and calories compared using oil.
Adding in turmeric can make a difference to how you feel? Turmeric can help with inflammation and is used is make curry powders as one of the main ingredients. Turmeric can also be found in mustard to create the yellow color. I’ve also used turmeric in vegan mac n cheese to give the yellow color. I like to also use turmeric whenever I can for the flavor and health benefits.
