I love to binge watch some of my favorite shows, the problem comes when I over indulge in certain snacks. These crunchy roasted chick peas and kidney beans are the perfect snack!
I made these crunchy roasted beans, straight from the can with no added seasoning.
Two cans: 1 can of chickpeas and 1 can of red kidney beans roasted in the oven until crunchy!
So I would be all set for my exciting night of watching one of my favorite shows 🙂
Seriously these are really good and it’s just beans (nothing added to them).
In the health stores when you see these packed items that are “healthy” like roasted chickpeas, carrots, or kale chips, they usually are made with a lot of added salt and oil.
This is any easy swap factor for this recipe because you can use any of your favorite beans. Pretty cheap snack for around $1.50 can of beans. Compare that bowl of popcorn at the movies.

Roasted Chick Peas & Kidney Beans
Ingredients:
- 1 can chick peas
- 1 can kidney beans
Direction:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Drain and rinse beans. Add parchment paper to baking sheets. Add beans. Roast in the oven for 30 minutes. Turn the beans half way through. Roasted until desired crunchiness.
Remove from the oven and serve.
Enjoy!
